2006 Spring Top Prospect Showcase
Warren Fox is a free agent RHP/OF with a 5'11'', 194 lb. frame from Post TX. He's an older prospect with a compact, strong body. Fox throws from a full, multi-part delivery and has a quick arm. Fox threw two types of fastballs, one that was straight and hard at 91 mph and the other that had consistent sinking action at 87-88 mph. He maintained his velocity well on both pitches. Fox was primarily a fastball pticher but mixed in a couple of curveballs and change ups and both showed some quality. He would probably throw both pitches more in regular game situations. Fox was aggressive in the strike zone and challenged hitters.
