Anthony Caruso is a 2010 RHP from Xaverian Brothers HS, residing in Braintree, Massachusetts, with a 5'10"/190 pound frame. He pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with long arm action. Anthony throws slightly across his body with effort in his delivery. His fastball has slight arm side run at 81 mph and he mixes pitches well. Caruso has a solid 11-5 curveball with depth at 66 mph and a 10-4 slider at 67 mph. At the plate, he hits from a slightly closed stance with high hands and a high back elbow. He has a top hand release and battles at the plate. Anthony needs to shorten his swing and his hands will drop at times. His future is most likely on the mound.
