Gregory Gomez is a 5'11" 180 pound 2008 catcher and third baseman from Gulliver Prep in Miami, Florida. He has a good build with some thickness. Gregory has a strong arm that works very well. He threw 76 mph from behind the plate while recording a very good pop time of 1.93. He stays under control and will continue to improve with more work. Gomez has a tall slightly open stance with a quiet set up. He showed good bat speed and strength and stays balanced through his swing. He gets good plate coverage and is very aggressive with good power potential. Gregory is a nice prospect who will continue to get better and he is also a good student with a 3.0 gpa.
