2006 Mid-Atlantic Top Prospect Showcase
Simon Weaver is a 2007 RHP that attends Walt Whitman HS and resides in Bethesda, MD with a 6'6", 185 lb. frame. Simon has an ideal pitcher's build with plenty of projection left in him. On the mound he throws from a 3/4 arm slot with a short loose arm action. Simon has a clean arm action and it looks like it is a matter of time before he has a big jump in his velocity. He has a good feel for changing speeds but his curveball could get a little tighter. When he fills out some more and picks up velocity Simon could be a solid prospect for a small to mid-level college program.
