Allen Jardin is a 2008 OF/2B with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame from Oceanside, California, who attends El Camino High School. Jardin has a lean and athletic frame. Defensively he moves well in the outfield and he plays the ball well. He has solid arm action from the outfield with an accurate arm. Jardin has athletic actions, and could play the infield as well. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who hits from an average base. He takes an aggressive stride, and he shows bat speed through the hitting zone. Jardin stays balanced through his swing, and he has a line drive swing plane. He is a nice aggressive hitter, but he still has a good eye and doesn't chase balls out of the zone. He has upside, and he is a good student as well.

Allen Jardin is a 2008 OF/MIF with a 5'9'', 160 lb. frame from Oceanside CA, who attends El Camino HS. Jardin has a lean, athletic body type that should continue to develop both strength and size. He is a young player with solid present day tools and ability, but would seem to be just scratching the surface of the type of player he will be in the future. Jardin possesses some ability with the bat. He has a flat swing plane and his swing has some life. He works to keep his hands inside the ball and is close to developing the type of rhythm at the plate that good hitter's have. Jardin maintains good balance during his swing and was able to get the barrel to the ball on a fairly consistent basis. Defensively he displays good body control and really went to the ball well in the outfield. His arm is accurate and his hands work. Jardin is a solid student and versatile young player. His skill set looks to be developing quite well at this stage and he should be followed as a college prospect.

Allen Jardin is a 2008 OF/MIF with a 5'8'', 160 lb. frame from Oceanside, CA, who attends El Camino HS. Jardin is a lean and athletic player with present strength. Defensively he has good arm speed on his throws from the outfield with solid online carry at 74 mph. During the showcase games he showed very good range making several nice plays. At the plate he is a right handed hitter who takes an early stride with a line drive swing plane. He stays back well on off-speed pitches keeping his hands back and showing the ability to hit to the opposite field. He has good swing mechanics and will turn well on the inside pitch. Jardin plays the game with much more speed and quickness than his sixty time might suggest. He is also a good student.

Allen Jardin is a 2008 OF/MIF from El Camino HS, residing in Oceanside, CA, with a 5'9" 155 lb. frame. Has a small and average build with some strength. Starts his swing with an arm bar load which creates some length in the swing. For the most part his swing plane is pretty flat. Jardin is a contact hitter with decent bat speed and looks to have the potential for doubles type power. His bat stays in the zone long enough to suggest the ability to drive the ball to the opposite field, particularly if he is on time with his swing. Defensively he showed good hands. Jardin made high arc throws and had an overly patient release but the proper fundamentals are in place to suggest he is going to be at least an average defensive player. He is a young player to follow for the small college level.
