Peyton Maple is a 2018 RHP/3B with a 6-4 195 lb. frame from Temecula, CA who attends Great Oak. Maple has a medium sized frame with a tall body and long limbs. He has a pitchers build with plenty of room to fill. Maple pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with a clean arm action. He repeated his delivery well and pitches downhill well. He has good hip rotation and gets good extension. His delivery works well and he throws it easy. Maple gets some run on his fastball and located it down in the zone well. He threw an 11/5 curve ball with tight spin and good depth to it. He also threw a change up at 76 MPH with some sink and run. Maple threw 3 pitches for strikes and threw the baseball to his target often. Excellent student.
