Michael Wilson is a 2017 LHP/ with a 6-0 175 lb. frame from Eureka, MO who attends Chaminade College Prep. Medium frame with a solid, athletic build. Projects for additional size with strength. Ran a 7.26 sixty yard dash. Primary left handed pitcher with simple side step delivery. High energy release from a low three-quarters to near sidearm slot. Hides the baseball very well at release making it tough on hitter to pick up spin. Lower half drives to plate well while landing at a slightly closed position. Landing position causes some crossfire arm action. Fastball has solid running action with command to both sides. Fastball ranged in the mid 70's topping at 78 mph. Slider has some loop with good tilt in the mid 60's. Flashed a changeup with deceptive arm speed that matches fastball. Primarily located changeup to glove side. Consistently produces swings and misses as well as weak contact. Good student as well.
