Austin Frank is a 2016 SS/3B/2B with a 6-0 180 lb. frame from Paul, ID who attends Minico HS. Large frame with solid, strong present build; good projection remaining on frame as well. Ran 60 yard dash in 7.24 seconds. Swing mechanics show some athleticism and looseness throughout, has strength in swing. Hand path will get a bit long at times, shows ability to use the whole field with line drive swing plane, made consistent line drive/ground ball contact to all fields. Best contact to opposite field. Worked out defensively in the infield. Fields cleanly with solid overall defensive actions, transfers well with balance through gather, shows solid arm strength across the diamond with infield velocity topping at 80 MPH on consistently accurate throws. Good student.
