Frankie Espinoza is a 2017 3B/OF with a 5-10 180 lb. frame from Santa Fe Springs, CA who attends S St. Paul Community Lrng. Cntr. Medium frame with excellent build and strength throughout body. Ran 60 yard dash in 8.11 seconds. Hits from tall stance with good balance, has strength in swing and is very quick to the ball. Brings strength with him at contact, showed good jump off the barrel with ability to go to all fields. Consistently barreled the ball in game action. Worked out defensively both in IF and OF. Showed good fundamentals in the IF, sits back a bit but fields cleanly, solid footwork into accurate release, IF velocity up to 77 MPH. Fielded cleanly in the OF as well, moved to ball well with no wasted footwork, quick release from shorter arm action with OF velocity up to 78 MPH. Very good student.
