Tyler Hanover is a 2008 MIF/3B with a 5'7'', 165 lb. frame from Kernersville, NC who attends East Forsyth HS. He has a short, compact build with very good present strength. Hanover is an excellent defensive second baseman. He's always played second at PG/WWBA events but has the type of physical tools/skills that will most often play shortstop at this level. He has loads of arm strength, very quick feet and gets rid of the ball quickly. He'd outstanding getting to balls up the middle and getting outs because of his arm strength and quickness. Offensively, Hanover is a very aggressive hitter with surprising pop for his size. His power is sometimes his undoing, as his swing can get long at times as he gets out of his envelope. He's best when he stays short and quick and takes what the pitcher gives him and lines it hard somewhere instead of going hunting for something he can lift. Hanover is a terror on the bases. He isn't a blazer with his speed but is very quick and hyper aggressive. He'll create errors and take every extra base available. No one underestimates Hanover due to his size anymore. The key to his future will be his offensive approach. He's one of the ultimate gamers at this level and leaves everything on the field. He has a verbal commitment to LSU.

Tyler Hanover is a 2008 IF with a 5'7", 163 lb frame from Kernersviller, NC who attends East Forsyth HS. Tyler has a short athletic build and very good strength for size. He is a very high-energy player that plays the game at 110 percent at all times. At the plate Tyler has a very aggressive hitting style with a simple approach and very good bat speed for size. He has good balance and leverage in his swing and is able to hit line-drives to all parts of the field. If anything Tyler might be a little overaggressive at the plate causing him to dive in on some balls, but there is no denying the talent. In the infield Tyler shows very good tools with a strong arm and quick release. He has good actions to the ball and could project at either middle infield position. His hands are also very good and sets up well to field the ball. Tyler is a player that will be a highest-level college prospect and should contribute early.

Tyler Hanover is a 5'6" 155 pound 2008 infielder from Kernersville, North Carolina who attends East Forsyth High School. He has very strong hands for his age and can swing the wood now. Tyler has very good bat speed and uses a line drive swing plane. He has good power now but will develop much more as he matures. Hanover is a very polishes second baseman who has good arm strength which he showed by throwing 75 mph across the infield. He has a smooth glove with good hands and feet and good actions. He is a very exciting player who is quick and fast which he showed off by runnign a 7.29 60 and 4.31 down the line. He should become a very solid player at the next level. Tyler is a national level potential player who is a must see for many college programs and was named to the Top Prospect game.
