Tanner McDonald is a 2017 3B/OF with a 6-0 150 lb. frame from Wylie, TX who attends Wylie East HS. Slender build with room to fill as he gets stronger. From the infield, good approach to the ball with a quick release across. From the outfield, short arm action with online carry to the bases. Right-handed hitter that starts with an upright stance at the plate. Swing is on a line drive swing path with a high finish that generates some natural lift to all fields. Quick bat that looks to hit the ball hard up the middle and pull side. Gets down the line very fast for a right handed hitter. Runs the bases aggressively consistently getting himself in scoring position. Outstanding student. Named to Top Prospect List.
