Steven Schilder is a 2016 LHP with a 5-9 170 lb. frame from Plainsboro, NJ who attends West Windsor-Plainsboro North. Medium, athletic frame, shows present strength with some projection remaining on frame. Primary left-handed pitcher, simple leg lift delivery and does a nice job of rotating hips through delivery, works form an over the top arm slot. Gets on top of fastball, works in the bottom of the zone topping at 72 mph with occasional cutting life, projects with continued incorporation of lower half into delivery. Shows a nice feel for a three-pitch mix, curveball shows 1-7 shape with some depth when he stays on top and flashes a changeup in the mid-60s. Around the plate with all three offerings.
