Sean Harcrow is a 2016 RHP/OF/SS with a 6-0 145 lb. frame from Arlington, TX who attends Lamar HS. Medium, athletic frame with a lean, projectable build and room to fill out with additional strength throughout. Ran a 7.12 60-yard dash. Primary right-handed pitcher, works with a short arm action through the backside and a mid three-quarter arm slot at release. Gets on top of the ball well to generate some downhill plane towards the plate with extension out front. Fastball topped out at 83 mph showing life to arm side and showed ability to work to both sides of the plate and comfort throwing in on hitters. Projects well with continued incorporation of lower half, flashed a curveball at 72 mph with 11-5 shape and showed a feel that will continue to develop. Similar arm action from the outfield, up to 86 mph with looseness to release, accurate throws. Multiple arm slots from the infield, quick transfer with short steps to the ball and range up the middle. Right-handed hitter, starts with an upright and slightly open stance with a high hand set. Compact swing, short and quick to the ball, occasionally opens front side early, contact approach with feel for pull side. Very good student.
