Noah Farmer is a 2017 RHP/OF with a 6-3 175 lb. frame from Metropolis, IL who attends Massac County HS. Tall athletic build, broad shoulders with a tapered waist, has some present strength with plenty more to come. Two-way prospect, graded out higher as a position player at this event. Long arm swing in delivery, high 3/4's arm slot with some lean off on release, lots of moving parts to his mechanics. 4-seam fastball topped out at 84 mph, worked a 2-seamer with good tail and sink at 79-81 mph. Gets good hard spin on his curveball at times, tends to slow arm and cast it at others, developing feel for his change up. 6.88 runner, showed very good actions and athleticism in the outfield, advanced footwork with a strong throwing arm and a quick release. Right handed hitter with a strong rotational swing, can use his lower half more but strong enough to drive the ball and show power, hard pull line drive contact. Very good student.
