Joaquin Munoz is a 2017 LHP with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lubbock, TX who attends Lubbock High School. Munoz has solid build with broad slopping shoulders. Primary Pitcher, long arm action to a high 3/4 arm slot. Delivery starts with a high leg lift, delivery is a little cross body. Shows good command of fastball working to glove side. Mixed in change up with good arm slot and arm speed and good action. Curveball had 1/7 shape and flashed potential with quality depth and late break. Hit from a square narrow stance, short swing to ball, mid to opposite field approach. Consistent contact. Defensively, good actions, hands and feel work well. Good Student. Named to Top Prospect Team.
