Cody McCardle is a 2016 2B with a 5-6 125 lb. frame from Cottonwood, AL who attends Cottonwood HS. Shorter young build, minimal present strength. Right handed hitter, exaggerated open stance, doesn't get closed fully on his load and is late getting the barrel started, line drive swing plane, middle of the field approach. 7.51 runner, has good defensive actions and soft hands at second base, good footwork with quick feet, has some skills on defense. Will need to get stronger to compete offensively.
