Robbie Suhr is a 2016 RHP/SS with a 6-0 170 lb. frame from Lees Summit, MO who attends Summit Christian Academy. Slender athletic build, projects well physically with plenty of room to get stronger. Tall delivery, stays on line well and gets downhill from a high 3/4's arm slot, repeats delivery well and keeps things simple. Steady fastball velocity at 84-85 mph, gets good heavy fastball life down in the zone, can throw to both sides of the plate with intent. True slider with some late biting action, flashes depth at times. Confident throwing firm change up to left handed hitters. Should continue to improve with additional strength and already has some pitchability. Showed good athleticism in infield drills, light on his feet with quick hands and a smooth release. Right handed hitter, crouched stance, swings hard from a deep hand set, has some bat speed and can drive the ball when on time, has offensive potential. Solid all around player who should continue to improve. Very good student.
