Tyler Pauley is a 2017 C/OF with a 6-1 190 lb. frame from Ballwin, MO who attends Marquette HS. Medium frame and build with some present strength. Body projects well for additional strength. Right handed hitter with an spread, open stance and higher hand set. Loads top half to a coiled position to create torque. Shows a downhill swing plane with a mid-field approach that results in live drive, groundball contact. Tends to let ball travel to a deep contact point. Worked out defensively behind the plate, showed actions and footwork. Long arm action into accurate throws with arm strength up to 71 MPH and popped as low as 2.14 seconds. Excellent student.
