Matthew Piotrowski is a 2018 SS/2B with a 5-9 140 lb. frame from Lancaster, CA who attends Desert Christian Schools. Piotrowski has a smaller frame with a thin lean build. Defensively he showed good actions on the infield with good footwork. Piotrowski showed good athleticsm and body control on the infield. He has nice hands and made accurate online throws with arm strength up to 73 MPH. At the plate, Piotrowski starts with an open stance with simple controlled approach. He showed quick wrists and made consistent line drive contact to the pull side. Piotrowski hits out front and showed barrel skills. He has a sound approach and will improve quickly with growth and strength gains. Outstanding student.
