Nick Hagedorn is a 2017 C/2B with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Sedalia, MO who attends Smith-Cotton HS. Medium athletic build. Left handed hitter, open to closed stance, deep hand load with a busy hand load, lots going on pre-swing with a big weight shift into contact, handles the barrel well and fires his hips with good timing, makes consistent square contact, handles the low pitch especially well, hits to all fields. Repeats fundamentals well on defense, gains grounds on throws, makes accurate throws with developing arm strength, has good athletic quickness behind the plate, 4.96 runner. Should keep improving with additional strength.
