Jake Walker is a 2016 LHP/1B with a 6-3 210 lb. frame from Milton, MA who attends Milton. Tall, strongly built, lean frame with present lower half strength. Ran a 7.65 60 yard dash. Pitches from a high three-quarter arm slot and finishes his delivery consistently. Tops at 78 mph with his fastball and projects for more velocity. Mixes a 64 mph curveball with 1-7 depth. Throws strikes. Also flashes a 68 mph changeup with good arm speed. Knows how to mix his pitches. Also swung the bat, hits from an extra wide base and gets on top of the ball. Has a fluid, quick swing path. Flashes solid bat speed. Moves well around first base with good lateral agility and solid arm strength. Very good student.
