Emory Willis is a 2017 2B/OF with a 5-6 135 lb. frame from Loganville, GA who attends Tucker HS. Willis has a smaller frame with a lean build. Defensively he throws with a slinging arm action with arm strength up to 73 MPH across the infield and 74 MPH from the outfield. Willis has nice hands that work well on the infield. He has a nice backhand and solid actions to the ball. From the outfield he has solid actions with a good crow hop. At the plate, Willis is a switch hitter. From the right side he starts with a slightly open stance with with a pull approach. He swings on a line drive path with a rotational approach. From the left side, he starts with an open stance with a similar approach. Currently he projects better from the right side. Willis pitches from a 3/4 arm slot with an online delivery. He has a balanced delivery and gets good hip rotation in his delivery. Good student.
