Hector Mosquea is a 2015 3B/SS with a 5-9 160 lb. frame from Bronx, NY who attends Archbishop Stepinac HS. Athletic frame with broad shoulders and a strong, mature build with present strength throughout. Ran a 7.44 60-yard dash. Primary third baseman, shows a short arm action on throws across the diamond, soft hands that play, able to throw from multiple slots, needs to get on top of throws across. Right-handed hitter, compact line drive swing plane with a short path to the ball, hands drop at start of swing, shows strength with occasional lift in swing and uses a pull side approach.
