LHP Daniel Baird (Brampton, ON, Canada): Baird is a nice bodied young left hander with some good natural arm strength. He has many delivery and balance issues but threw 83-86 consistently with good tailing action. Baird is the type of pitcher who could improve and should be followed by the scouts as he pitches college ball. He is a good student and unsigned. He could easily be graded a notch higher based on projectability alone.
