Brad Meade is a 2008 RHP/3B with a 6'4'', 190 lb. frame from Chippewa Falls WI, who attends Chippewa Falls HS. He has a tall, slender body with good proportions and good projectability. Meade throws with a simple turn and throw delivery and a high 3/4's release point. His release point is high enough that he has to pull his body off the plane of the plate some to get his arm through. His arm is nice and loose. Meade's fastball was 79-82 mph, touch 83,with occasional boring life. His 69 mph curveball showed very good 12/6 downer spin at times but he frequently overthrew the pitch and lost the tight spin and command. His change up is a work in progress. Meade's mechanics are inconsistent but he has the physical tools to develop with more repetitions and experience. Meade swung the bat well, also, showing a nice quiet approach and good bat speed with power potential. He should be followed as a two-way prospect. Meade is also an excellent student.

Brad Meade is a 2008 RHP/IF with a 6'3'', 180 lb. frame from Chippewa Falls WI, who attends Chippewa Falls HS. He has a nice athletic body that could really get big and strong with age. Meade throws from a tall delivery with some upper body lean and an overhand release point. His arm action is compact and efficient and he creates a good down hill plane to the plate. Meade's fastball topped out at 78 mph and was very straight due to his release point. His curveball was his best pitch at 68 mph, with nice downer spin and bite to it. Meade also threw a couple of 67 mph change ups. Overall, Meade is a nice looking young sophomore pitcher who would project better with a lower release point. He also showed us nice tools with the bat. Meade has good swing mechanics with some bat speed and power potential. He centered the ball very consistently and projects some power down the road. Good follow. Meade is also a very good student off the field.

Brad Meade is a 2008 right handed pitcher/infielder from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin, with a 6'2", 170 lb. frame. The tall RHP throws from a high 3/4 arm slot with good arm speed for his age. Meade stays tall through his delivery with a high leg lift. His fastball topped out at 74 mph with some tailing life. Meade also mixed in a big 61 mph curveball with good depth and a 12 to 6 break. He had good control out of the windup, but struggled at time out of the stretch. Meade has the solid mechanics and arm strength to be good prospect on the mound. He showed good footwork defensively with good range and body control. He hits from an open stance with a no load approach. Meade has the potential to be a two way prospect, and he is an outstanding student as well.
