Alex Webb is a 2015 C with a 5-10 175 lb. frame from Lawrenceburg, TN who attends Columbia Central HS. Medium athletic build, some present strength with more to come. Left handed hitter, strong swing with good swing mechanics, quiet calm load, moves into contact well, has bat speed, occasional backside collapse, shows gap power, confident in the box, good loose extension out front, projects well as a hitter. Good footwork behind the plate, accurate arm with some carry, tends to stand up to throw slowing release. Good student.
