Thomas Weber is a 2014 C/RHP with a 6-4 190 lb. frame from Mt. Vernon, IL who attends Mt Vernon HS. Very tall, slender build with a great deal of projection left to come. Good balanced behind the plate, blocks pitches very well, sound receiving skills, long arm action. Outstanding arm strength, still a little wild with his throws, high upside defender. Right-handed batter, hits out of a wide stance, holds his hands high, gets good leverage in his swing. Aggressive swinger, shows good bat speed, made some hard line drive contact. Also pitched, long over the top arm action. Fastball reaches 82 mph and shows good sink and run. Works quickly, curveball flashes hard spin at 73 mph. Excellent student.
