Tucker Pate is a 2016 C/SS/3B with a 6-0 190 lb. frame from Knoxville, TN who attends Karns HS. Medium build, very good present strength for his age. Straight stance, busy load, different balance points/body positions on different swings, working on consistency, has some bat speed and gap power, line drive swing, has hitting tools to develop. Plays multiple positions, has good footwork, and receiving mechanics, very low almost sidearm release point must be raised. Also pitched, compact arm action, on line delivery, easy low effort delivery, mid 70's fastball, throws strikes and pitches to contact. Lots of talent to develop, young mechanics/funhdamentals. Good student.
