Brendan Frazier is a 2006 MIF from Pulaski Academy in Little Rock, AR, with a 5'8'', 160 lb. frame and a strong, compact athletic build. Frazier ran the 60 in 7.33 and threw 78 mph during infield drills. Frazier has good first step quickness in the field and a short, quick release on his throws. He moves to the ball easily. Frazier profiles best at second base but has enough arm strength with his quick release to play some shortstop at the next level as well. At the plate, Frazier hits from a spread stance with flexed knees and a high hand set. He has a short, line drive swing plane and hits the ball solidly to all fields. Frazier is a hard nosed player who is hustling all the time on the field and getting the most out of his physical ability. He'll be the favorite of a college coach somewhere. Frazier is also an outstanding student off the field.
