Elijah Christenson is a 2014 1B/3B/RHP with a 6-3 200 lb. frame from Haslet, TX who attends Northwest HS. Extra large and strong build, mature look. Right handed hitter, loose powerful swing, good shortness to contact but extended out front, uppercut swing plane, very good present bat speed, big power potential, hits under control but looks to hit the ball hard. Agile defensive actions at first base, good hands, shows his athleticism defensively, 7.63 runner. Also pitched, over the top arm action, repeats delivery well, long extended arm action. Fastball topped at 81 mph, good feel/command of big breaking curveball, has some pitchability. Looks like young Travis Hafner probably looked like. Good student. Named to the Top Prospect Team.
