Dylan MacKay is a 2016 OF/LHP with a 5-8 125 lb. frame from Blue Springs, MO who attends Blue Springs HS. Smaller young build, minimal present strength. Left handed hitter, nice swing fundamentals, loose extended swing, looks to pull, has some present bat quickness, uses his hands well, tends to get a bit too much lift in his swing plane, going to be a good hitter when he gets bigger and stronger. 7.59 runner, young defensive tools, arm strength still developing, good jumps in the outfield, nice diving catch. Also pitched, slow paced delivery, compact arm action, upper 60's fastball, soft curveball, throws strikes. Good student.
