Troy Andrew is a 2014 3B/MIF with a 5-9 165 lb. frame from Tampa, FL who attends Tampa Jesuit HS. Smaller athletic build, some present strength. Right handed hitter, spread stance, comfortable easy load, uses lower half well, will tend to dive in with his upper body, good line drive swing plane, has the beginnings of some bat speed, loose extension out front, should continue to improve with additional strength. Best position second base, moves well laterally, light on his feet, soft hands, reads balls well off the bat, quick release, arm strength developing. Good student.
