Jake Dame is a 2014 RHP with a 6-4 180 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Clements HS. Highly projectable, long, tall frame with some present athleticism and strength. Right-handed pitcher, throws from a high 3/4 arm slot, creates a good downward angle toward the hitter, arm works free and easy. Pitches at 80-85 mph with his fastball, works both sides of the plate and down in the zone, good fastball command. Curveball flashes some potential, 12-6 action but inconsistent right now. Has a feel for pitching, outstanding upside, more velocity coming. Also hit, projects better on the mound, swing has some length, consistent contact with some extension.

Jake Dame is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-2 155 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends Clements HS. Tall and slender young frame, lots of room to get stronger. Tall and fall delivery, 3/4's release point, loose arm that works very easily, can get more from his lower half in delivery. Fastball topped at 84 mph, some arm side run and sink, commands fastball very well. Good curveball spin in the upper 60's, gets two-plane shape and depth, has a feel for his change up, attacks zone with all three pitches and has an idea. Projects very well, can see being an upper 80's guy with additional strength and physical maturity. Already has a feel for pitching.
