At the plate, he is a right handed hitter who uses an open stance with a toe tap trigger. Brown is a line drive hitter with good bat speed and bat control. He makes solid contact and centers the ball well. Brown is aggressive with pitches in the zone and stays balanced throughout his swing. He is a solid player.
