Nick Cardinale is a 2014 RHP/3B with a 6-0 165 lb. frame from Henderson, NV who attends Foothill. Cardinale has a medium sized frame with a long lean build. He pitches from a high 3/4 arm slot with a long arm action. He maintains balance through his delivery and pitches downhill well. Cardinale gets arm side run on his fastball when it's down in the zone and attacks hitters well. He also throws a curveball at 71 MPH with good shape and depth to it. Defensively he has developing max effort actions. He has arm strength with solid transfers. At the plate, he starts with a slightly open stance witha high leg lift trigger. He swings uphill and has bat speed. Outstanding student.
