Tony Bladel is a Junior middle infielder that we like as a second baseman. He weighs in at just 140 pounds and still showed 76 mph velocity across the diamond. He ran a 7.30 in the 60 and his first 30 yards were his best. He ran down to first well as a better indication of how his foot-speed applies to his game. He did not show us a fast swing but he has the makings of good hitting mechanics and we will not be surprised if he becomes strong enough to drive the ball harder the next time we see him. With aluminum we imagine he gets the ball in play even more. He already has enough strength and level swing to hit the pitching he saw in the Midwest Showcase. He hit a couple balls hard.
