Taylor is a 2006 grad from Saint Francis High School in Tujunga, California. He stands 5'10" 160 pounds with an athletic well proportioned body. He shows a solid base in the batter's box and creates some good bat speed. He is able to make consistent solid contact and use all of the fields well. Taylor showed very good arm strength in both the infield and outfield with solid mechanics and sure hands in the infield. Taylor is also a pretty good runner. Overall, he is a good looking competitor with some present tools that can improve in the future. Taylor will get plenty of opportunities to play at the college level. He's a good student as well. Very interesting 06 prospect.

Taylor is a 2006 grad from Southern California and has a avg frame and lean build. Athletically proportioned with some hidden strength and can hold more muscle in future. He has good pure arm strength that occasionally drops arm angle and loses carry and velocity at SS. I like when he gets on top (arm) and shows good carry and accuracy to 1B. Taylor shows a very natural ability to go the other way, which keeps him inside contact often and has a greater margin of success when this happens. Good contact and live drive ability that in time should get more into alley to alley type power as he matures. Plus raw power in future, ball jumps off the bat well and has a easy quiet approach with some weight transfer. Should have no trouble generating Div 1 interest and play a impact at that level in future.
