Ryan Johnston is a 2015 OF/RHP with a 5-9 150 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Johnston has a medium sized frame with a lean build. Defensively, he has good footwork in the outfield with some arm strength and carry on his throws. Johnston uses a short arm action and has projectable outfield velocity. At the plate, he starts with a high hand set and has an aggressive approach. Johnston has a rotational swing and keeps his hands inside the ball well. He has some bat speed and made good contact in game. Good student.
