Sam Proctor is a 2014 RHP with a 6-1 192 lb. frame from Sarasota, FL who attends IMG Academies. Medium slope shouldered build, good present strength. Simple side step delivery, long loose arm action, accelerates to the plate, stays on line, loose out front and ball comes out easily. Upper 80's fastball with bore and sink, touched 90 mph, maintains velocity well. Big early breaking curveball, good shape and power, didn't see change up. Power arm, going to throw harder in the future and can spin the ball, solid overall package. Good student.
