Steven "Zeke" Pietrzyk is a 2014 LHP/1B with a 6-2 215 lb. frame from Fort Myers, FL who attends Estero HS. Tall well proportioned mature build, especially strong in the lower half. Tall well balanced delivery, stays in control, low effort release, good leg drive to the plate, 3/4's arm slot, arm is loose and works well. Low 80's fastball, topped out at 84 mph, keeps the ball down in the zone well. Nice curveball with sweeping 2/8 break, shows confidence in his change up with good tail and sinking action. Three quality pitches that he locates well down in the zone. Polished southpaw who could add some velocity. Very good student. Signed with Florida Gulf Coast.
