Josh McCullar is a 2015 RHP/3B with a 6-0 140 lb. frame from Woodstock, GA who attends Sequoyah HS. Slender body, young look, minimal present strength. Long whippy arm action, 3/4's arm slot, good tempo to delivery. Mid 70's fastball, topped out at 78 mph from the windup, some arm side running action, soft curveball with short 11/5 break, gets good sink on change up on occasion. Throws strikes and pitches to contact. Right handed hitter, spread stance, limited shift into contact, simple short swing, showed good potential hitting tools in batting practice, gets the barrel out and squares up, tends to expand the zone during games. Young player who should improve with additional strength. Good student.
