Ramon Gonzalez is a 2013 OF/LHP with a 5-7 130 lb. frame from Sugar Land, TX who attends George Ranch HS. Smaller slender build, has some hidden strength. Left handed hitter, open stance, easy low effort swing, strides in well and uses lower half, gets barrel out and makes solid line drive contact, surprising carry at times, hits to all fields, has a feel for hitting. 7.04 runner, sound outfield actions and throwing mechanics, long arm action, arm strength still developing. Also pitched, low 3/4's slot, extended arm action, tends to leave back side over rubber, mid 70's fastball. Good student.
