Tyler Williams is a 2015 OF with a 6-4 208 lb. frame from Peoria, AZ who attends Kellis HS. Outstanding athletic build, present strong with plus projection. 6.58 runner, plays faster than that in games, very aggressive baserunner, consistent 3.28-3.31 on steals, covers huge amounts of ground in the outfield. Lacks present throwing mechanics and arm strength on defense. Right handed hitter, bent knee stance, low hand start, rotational swing, limited present extension, creates bat speed with strength, handles barrel well and squares up in games, ball comes off the barrel hard. Young and still growing into coordination but has a very high ceiling athletically. Plays the game hard and enjoys being on the field. Father is a professional scout. Will be lots of fun to watch develop the next few years. Good student.
