Right handed hitter, wide base, good balanced swing mechanics, short to the ball with loose extension out front, line drive plane, stays above the ball well, very good present bat speed with more to come, works counts and sees the ball well, will get long at times, high ceiling hitting tools. 6.70 runner, good third base actions, feet work well, soft hands, clean release, athletic actions, arm strength just fair at present. Has all the tools to be a top prospect. Very good student.

Sean Bouchard is a 2014 SS/3B with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic HS. Nice projectable athletic build. Right handed hitter, strong swing, gets to front side early, solid pull contact, squares ball up consistently, present bat speed with more to come, line drive swing plane. Very good hands and feet at third base, very balanced and quick, quick release, charges well, arm strength still developing and will improve with better throwing mechanics, actions/tools more suited to third base at present and likely to continue to do so as he gets bigger/stronger. Excellent student.

Sean Bouchard is a 2014 SS/3B, MIF with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from San Diego, CA who attends Cathedral Catholic. Bouchard has a large frame with a long lanky build and room to fill. He has good feet defensively and plays through the ball well. He has good actions with some body control. Bouchard uses a short arm action and has some arm strength. At the plate, he has a line drive swing path with bat speed and extension. The ball comes off his bat well and he has some pop and some power potential. Bouchard made solid middle of the field contact and showed an aggressive approach in game. Good tool set and should continue to improve. Outstanding student.
