Tyler Brandon is a 2014 RHP/2B with a 6-0 195 lb. frame from New York, NY who attends Seton Hall Prep. Very strong, muscular build with some present athleticism and room to grow. Throws from an over the top arm slot, has a very smooth delivery, gathers well at his balance point, repeats well and stays on-line with home plate. Arm action looks effortless and clean, ball jumps out of his hand with life and occasional sinking action down in the zone. Up to 88 mph, worked at 84-87, flashes a sharp slider at 76 mph with some tight, late break. Will continue to get better, high upside right-handed arm. Good student.
