Chris Mitchell is a 2012 SS/RHP with a 5-10 145 lb. frame from Dayton, OH who attends Stebbins. He has a slender build with room to fill. Good quickness in his feet, his hands work, and he covers a lot of ground. He has a good transfer, and showed clean IF actions during games. He has an opposite field approach at plate, with a short swing that produces line drive contact. He has good bat speed and easy swing. On the mound his arm works easily, and his 11/5 curveball has solid break. He threw a lot of strikes and had good command and feel for pitching.
