Tyler Brummer is a 2013 LHP/OF with a 5-8 160 lb. frame from Lexington, KY who attends Dunbar. Lean frame with room to fill. Loose arm with good arm speed from a low 3/4 slot. Medium arm length with effort in his delivery. Showed very good control of a fastball with consistent mid-70s velocity and a 66 mph curveball with 1/7 break. Also flashed changeup at 70. Moves well with lightness in his feet in the outfield. Loose arm with clean arm action and strength. Left-handed bat with a wide base at the plate. Hands are active and his swing is loose with leverage on a line drive plane. Will benefit from better balance at the plate. Good student.
