Gavin O'Neil is a 2014 OF/IF, RHP with a 5-11 170 lb. frame from Snohomish, WA who attends Lake Stevens. Young lean athletic build. Slightly open stance, narrow base, leg lift trigger, high hand set. Line drive swing plane, quick hands, drives the gaps well, smooth swing. Lot of moving parts, solid present hitter but more upside with projection and tweaks. Up to 80 on the mound, 3/4 arm slot, loose arm action, smooth balanced online delivery, good arm speed. Arm side run on fastball, 11-5 curveball has late break and flashed good potential. Pitches downhill with good feel for curve. Interesting young player to watch.
