Miles Manning is a 2012 MIF/RHP with a 5-10 170 lb. frame from Victoria, TX who attends Victoria West HS. Medium athletic frame, some present strength. 6.88 runner, middle infield actions defensively, very good arm strength, quick first step, light on his feet, can throw from multiple release points, hands soft and sure. Switch hitter, better from the right side. Tall open stance, quick hands, ball jumps well, similar approach from the left side, smooth swing but without the same bat speed, line drive contact both ways, will hit to all fields. Also pitched, compact rotational delivery, extended 3/4's release point, throws under control, consistent mid 80's fastball, big sweeping slurve type breaking ball, will get under curve at times, rare change up. Nice all around talent. Good student.
