Jacob Foitek is a 2013 1B/LHP with a 6-2 175 lb. frame from Denton, TX who attends Bishop Lynch HS. Well proportioned athletic build, looks stronger than listed size. Left handed hitter, simple swing mechanics, straight tall stance, limited stride/shift, rock back load, has quick hands and some bat speed, line drive swing plane, hard pull contact, has hitting tools to keep improving. Good hands at first base, smooth actions, good footwork around the base. Also pitched, balanced low effort delivery, clean overall mechanics, loose arm action from 3/4's slot, fastball topped out at 80 mph with good arm side run, tends to fly open early on soft curveball. Projectable athlete. Good student.
